100 questions and answers
Everything you should know about Ozvelo
Can the AI answer my phone? What do I need to do so it replies to my messages? How does publishing work, what do the plans include? Plain answers, grouped by topic.
Messages and replies
How the assistant answers your customers on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, email, your website and your phone.
01Can the AI answer my customers on its own?
Yes. Once you add your business information (Q&A, documents, products, opening hours), the assistant replies to incoming messages by itself, 24/7, on every channel you connect. You choose the hours it works and can take over any conversation at any time.
02Can the AI answer my phone?
Two ways. The reception screen (Kiosk) turns a tablet at your front desk into a voice assistant that answers guests aloud. A phone agent that picks up your phone line with the same knowledge is available on request: write to us, we set up a number for your country and price the per-minute usage.
03What do I need to do so the AI replies to my messages?
Three steps: connect a channel (for example WhatsApp or Instagram), add information about your business under Train the AI, and leave the assistant switched on. The first reply arrives within seconds of the first customer message.
04Where does the assistant get its answers?
Only from what you give it: your Q&A, documents, products and services, opening hours and the personality you set. It does not search the web and it does not invent prices or availability.
05What happens when it does not know the answer?
It says so politely, offers your phone number or asks for the customer's contact details, and hands the conversation to your team. The conversation is marked as needing a human in your inbox.
06Which channels arrive in the inbox?
WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, email (your info@ address), your website chat bubble, the contact form and the reception screen. Everything lands in one list.
07Can I set when the assistant is allowed to reply?
Yes. Under Hours you choose the days and times. Outside those hours it can stay silent, reply with a short note, or step in only when your team has not answered within a set number of minutes.
08Can I switch the AI off for one customer?
Yes. Open the conversation and pause the assistant; from then on only your team replies in that thread. You can hand it back at any time.
09Does it reply in the customer's language?
Yes. It detects the language of the message and answers in the same language, even if your business information is written in another one.
10Can the assistant send photos?
Yes. When a customer asks about a room, a dish or a product that has a photo in your catalogue, the assistant can attach up to three photos to its reply.
11Can it take bookings or reservations?
It collects requests: date, number of people, contact details. These appear under Requests for you to confirm. On the Team plan the booking module adds a booking page and calendar; with a hotel system connected (HotelRunner, Mews, Beds24) it also quotes live availability and prices.
12How does email work?
You forward your info@ address to a private Ozvelo address. Every incoming email appears in the inbox, the assistant prepares a draft reply, you approve or edit it, and it is sent from your own domain. Newsletters and automatic notifications are recognised and skipped.
13Does the assistant reply to emails automatically?
By default it drafts and waits for your approval, because email is where mistakes cost the most. If you prefer, switch email to automatic and it sends directly, within the hours you set.
14What is a credit?
One credit is one reply written by the assistant to a customer. The free plan includes 100 to try; Essentials includes 300 a month and Team 1,000 a month. Your own replies, the test chat and post writing do not use credits.
15What happens when my credits run out?
The assistant stops replying, but every message still lands in your inbox and your team can answer by hand. The counter in the sidebar shows what is left; on paid plans it resets on the first of each month.
16Can my team and the AI work together in the same inbox?
Yes. Team members see the same conversations, can reply themselves, pause or resume the assistant, add notes and mark conversations as handled.
17How does the website chat bubble work?
You add one line of code (or the WordPress plugin) to your site. Visitors see a small bubble; when they write, the same assistant answers with your business information. You control colours, texts, position and the greeting.
18Can visitors leave their contact details in the chat?
Yes. You can ask for name, email or phone before or during the chat, and every visitor who writes becomes a lead under Leads with the conversation attached.
19Does the assistant understand photos customers send?
Photos are saved with the message so your team can see them. The assistant acknowledges the photo and continues the conversation, but it does not analyse the image content.
20Can I see what the assistant said?
Every reply is in the conversation with a small label showing it came from the assistant. Nothing is sent that you cannot read afterwards.
21Can I correct a wrong answer?
Yes. Reply yourself in the conversation, then add the right information to your Q&A so the assistant answers correctly next time. Changes apply immediately.
22How do I give the assistant a personality?
Under Personality and rules you choose the tone (warm, formal, short), emoji use, how it introduces itself and what it must never do. You can also write free-form instructions such as 'always mention free parking'.
23Can it answer questions about prices and availability?
It answers from your products list and documents. If you connect a hotel or booking system, it asks that system in real time instead of guessing.
24What is the test chat?
A private chat in your dashboard where you talk to your own assistant before going live. It uses your real information but nothing is sent to customers and it does not use credits.
25Can the assistant collect call-back requests?
Yes. When a customer wants to be called, the assistant takes the number and preferred time and creates a request. Reminders make sure nobody is forgotten.
26Does it work on WhatsApp Business?
Yes, through the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). You connect your number once; messages arrive in the inbox and replies go out from your business number.
27What about Instagram comments?
Direct messages are answered. Comments under posts are read for statistics but not answered automatically yet.
28Can I export my conversations?
Conversations stay in your dashboard for as long as your business exists. On request we provide an export; you can also delete a conversation or your whole business at any time.
29Is there a limit to how many messages I can receive?
No. Incoming messages are never limited. Only the number of assistant replies is counted as credits.
30How fast does the assistant reply?
Usually within a few seconds. You can add a deliberate delay so replies feel more natural, or set it to wait for your team first.
Publishing
Planning, writing and scheduling posts, stories and Reels across your social accounts.
31Which platforms can I publish to?
Instagram, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn (profile and company pages), X, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Google Business Profile and WordPress. Threads, TikTok and YouTube are planned.
32Can I connect two Facebook Pages to one account?
Yes. Connect as many Pages and Instagram accounts as your plan covers. Prepare one post, let the AI adapt the text for each Page, and schedule it to all of them at once.
33How does the queue work?
Each account has its own posting times (for example Monday to Friday at 10:00 and 18:00). Posts you add to the queue take the next free time automatically. You can also pick an exact date and time or publish right away.
34Can the AI write my posts?
Yes. Upload a photo or describe the idea; the assistant writes a caption and hashtags in your business's voice and language. 'Improve', 'shorter' and 'longer' refine it without changing the language.
35Can one post be adapted to every platform?
Yes. Write it once and click Adapt to all platforms: LinkedIn gets a professional version, X a short one within the character limit, Instagram one with hashtags, and so on. You can still edit each version.
36Are photos resized automatically?
Yes. Each platform prefers a different format; Ozvelo fits your photo to it (square, portrait, landscape, Pinterest pin) and lets you adjust the crop per platform.
37Can I publish stories?
Yes, to Instagram and Facebook. Stories can mention other accounts. Music, stickers and locations cannot be added through the official API.
38Can I publish Reels?
Yes, to Instagram and Facebook: upload a vertical video (3 to 90 seconds, up to 100 MB), choose the cover frame, write the caption and schedule it. Instagram processes the video for a few minutes before it appears.
39Can posts repeat automatically?
Yes. Set a post to repeat weekly, monthly or every few days, for a set number of times or without end on paid plans. Each repeat is a fresh post, so you never hit platform duplicate limits.
40Can I see my posts in a calendar?
Yes. List, week and month views show every scheduled post, story and Reel. Drag a post to another day to move it.
41What is the posting-times page?
A page where you set, per account, the days and times posts go out, separately for posts and stories if you like. Suggested schedules are one click away.
42Can my team prepare posts for approval?
On the Team plan, yes. Staff prepare drafts and send them for approval; an owner or admin approves, edits or rejects with a note. Nothing goes out without approval.
43Can I preview a post before it goes out?
Yes. The real-size preview shows the post as it will appear on each platform, on phone and desktop, including the first lines of the caption.
44Does Ozvelo publish to WordPress?
Yes. Write an article with title and body, choose categories and author, and publish or save as draft on your WordPress site. The same article can be announced on your social accounts.
45Can I post to Google Business Profile?
Yes. Updates with a photo and text appear on your Google Maps listing. Connect your location once under Channels.
46Does X need a paid API?
Ozvelo connects through X's official API. Posting works on X's free tier within its limits; longer text is split into a thread automatically.
47How does Pinterest work?
Your Pinterest profile is connected as one account and you pick the board for each pin. A post becomes a pin with title, description and link, fitted to the 2:3 pin format.
48Is there a hashtag archive?
Yes, on paid plans. Save groups of hashtags you reuse, mark one group to be added automatically, and let the AI suggest hashtags based on your business and your best-performing posts.
49What is the photo album?
All photos you upload, with tags, search and favourites. Photos from your other businesses are visible too, and you can reuse any of them in a new post.
50Can I save ideas for later?
Yes. The idea notebook keeps titles, notes and images; turn an idea into a post whenever you like. The free plan keeps 100 ideas, paid plans unlimited.
51Can I use my own ChatGPT or Claude to prepare posts?
Yes. Connect your AI assistant through the MCP connection; it can read your products and photos, write posts and schedule them to the accounts you allow.
52How many scheduled posts can I have?
The free plan keeps 10 scheduled posts per account at a time; paid plans are unlimited within fair use.
53Can I duplicate a post?
Yes. Copy any post, published or not, change what you like and schedule it again.
54What statistics do I see?
Follower growth, likes, comments, shares and your best posts per account, for 30 days on the free plan and up to a year on paid plans. Weekly and monthly email reports summarise it for you.
55What happens if a post fails to publish?
It is marked with the reason (for example the account needs to be reconnected or Instagram rejected the image). Fix it and publish again; nothing is lost.
56Why does my Instagram need to be a Business or Creator account?
Instagram allows publishing through the API only for Business and Creator accounts linked to a Facebook Page. Switching is free and takes a minute in the Instagram app.
57Can I schedule posts in a different time zone?
Yes. Each account has its own time zone, so a business in Prague and one in Istanbul each post at the right local time.
58Can I publish the same post to Instagram and Facebook with different texts?
Yes. Open the platform section of the post and write a platform-specific text; the shared text stays for the others.
59Can I add a photo only for one platform?
Yes. Drop a photo onto a platform's section in the composer and it is used only there.
60How many photos per post?
Up to 10 per post, the Instagram carousel limit. Other platforms get as many as they allow.
