Ozvelo Now Connects to X Through the Official X API
A day after Bluesky, the other short-form network follows. Ozvelo now connects to X through the official X API, so the post you prepared for the rest of your channels can go out on X too, without opening another tab.
Small teams should not have to choose which networks they can keep up with. One post, written once, should reach all of them.
How do I connect my account?
With X's own sign-in screen. You approve Ozvelo there, and X hands back a permission you can withdraw from your X settings whenever you like. Ozvelo never sees or stores your X password.
What can I publish?
Text posts of up to 280 characters with up to four images. Links are counted the way X counts them, so the character meter in the composer matches what X will accept.
What happens to longer posts?
They become a thread. Ozvelo splits the text at paragraph and sentence boundaries and publishes the parts as linked replies. If you would rather decide where each part ends, you can place the breaks yourself before publishing.
Can I schedule?
Yes. X posts sit in the same calendar as everything else, and they follow the same approval rules if your team uses them.
Does this cover direct messages?
Not at this stage. The X connection is for publishing; messages on X are not part of it.
