Ozvelo vs Buffer (2026): Price, Features and Which One to Choose

OzveloBuffer
For businesses that also answer messages

Buffer is one of the best-known social media schedulers: simple, friendly and priced per channel. Ozvelo schedules posts too, but it was built for a second job most small businesses have as well: answering customers on Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, email and the website, automatically and around the clock.

This comparison uses Buffer's public pricing and help pages as they stood on 24 October 2026. Where Buffer is the better pick, we say so.

The short answer
  • Scheduling only: Buffer is cheaper per channel ($5 per channel a month, billed yearly) and has a generous free plan with three channels.
  • Scheduling and customer messages: Ozvelo. Buffer has no direct-message inbox at all; Ozvelo includes one, with an AI assistant that replies on its own using your information.
  • For a business with three accounts, Ozvelo Essentials costs €20 a month billed yearly, with 300 AI replies. Buffer plus a messaging tool such as ManyChat Pro comes to about $44 (≈ €39).
  • Ozvelo also includes a website chat bubble and contact form, booking on Team, and an interface in Turkish, Czech, German and Polish.

Plans and prices

Buffer charges for every channel you connect: Essentials is $6 per channel a month ($5 billed yearly) for one user, and Team is $12 ($10 yearly) per channel with unlimited users. Prices are in US dollars. Ozvelo charges in euros: Essentials includes one account for €10 a month billed yearly (€14 monthly), each extra account is €5 (€7), and Team includes two accounts and unlimited users for €25 (€35).

What it costs for a typical small business

The table shows the cheapest plan of each that covers the publishing in each scenario. Keep in mind that Ozvelo's price already includes the inbox and the AI replies; Buffer's does not.

To have AI answer customer messages too
Buffer doesn't handle direct messages at all, so you would add a second tool. ManyChat Pro, for example, costs $29 a month billed yearly (its knowledge-base AI replies are Instagram-only and in beta). For the 3-account example that is about $44 a month together (≈ €39), versus €20 for Ozvelo Essentials with 300 AI replies included.

Where Buffer is stronger

  • A lower price if all you need is scheduling, especially beyond ten channels, where Buffer's per-channel price drops to $4, $3 and finally $1.
  • A free plan with three channels (Ozvelo's free plan has one account).
  • More places to publish: YouTube Shorts, Threads and Substack Notes, which Ozvelo doesn't publish to yet.
  • An AI writing assistant even on the free plan, with no credits to count.
  • A long track record and well-established mobile apps.

Where Ozvelo is stronger

  • An AI assistant that answers customer messages on its own, in the customer's language, using only your Q&A, documents and products. What it can't answer goes to your team.
  • One inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, email and website chat. Buffer's inbox covers comments only.
  • A website chat bubble and contact form in every plan, so website visitors land in the same inbox.
  • Booking and appointments on Team, and a voice reception screen on paid plans.
  • WhatsApp through your own business number: Meta bills its message fees to you directly and Ozvelo adds nothing on top.
  • Prices in euros and an interface in English, Turkish, Czech, German and Polish. Buffer's web app is English only.

Which one should you choose?

Choose Buffer if you only schedule posts, manage many channels or want the most generous free scheduling plan.

Choose Ozvelo if customers message you and you want them answered quickly without extra staff. One subscription replaces a scheduler and a chatbot tool, and for a typical small business it costs less than the two together.
